Rejection Letters
Cutting Off Contact Friend Positive

Dear {Name},

I understand that recently I haven't been there for you as much as you've needed. I wanted to say that I'm sorry you're not receiving the support you need to help you through this period of time.

I'm so grateful for the friendship that we've shared all these years, but I feel like the circumstances of just being adults and leading different lives have pushed us apart. I don't want to feel like I'm letting you down, but I don't think I can give you the kind of friendship you need right now either. I still care a great deal for you, and I can't tell you how wonderful it was when we were able to hang out all the time and talk each other through the bad times. I hope that you're able to find that from someone else, and that we can still enjoy each other's company when we happen to see each other.

Love,

{Name}
